Activity

Wow, I NEVER post anything here. It's been a few months off of a year since I updated this Journal, so I will now.

Anyway, I'M GOING TO COLLEGE!

What am I going to college for?

Video. Game. Design.
I AM GOING TO BE A FUCKING CONCEPT ARTIST.
:iconbadassplz:

For those who are unsure, I would like to visually design characters and the overall visual look of a game, and perhaps some storyboarding and writing too!
So, basically the more artistic department rather than programming, that create the feel of the game aside how it is played.

Since the school I am going to is based heavily in Technology, my number of traditional art submissions will be dropping drastically. There are also other courses I need to take that cover the basic elements of game design, before I get to the drawing stuff.
Most of my new stuff though, (If I am permitted to post it, as these may be going into potentially successful projects.) will be made in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Expect my digital skills to get WAYYYYY better!

Due to this, I thought it would be very much necessary to set up some

COPYRIGHT RULES.
These will cover HOW you can use my art, WHAT you can use, and WHEN.

1. References
You CAN use my art as a REFERENCE, So long as it is NOT PROHIBITED OTHERWISE on the deviation itself, AND you ask for MY PERMISSION AND you CREDIT ME IN THE DESCRIPTION.

In my terms a reference is something an artist uses as a guide to help them complete a technique using a certain medium or to illustrate anatomy or a pose properly ect... Or, is an image used to practice a technique on.
Example of Technique Practice:
Ashe, The Frost Archer by SolarLugiaFrom my description you can see that the image I pulled this from is NOT MINE, but used as a subject for pencil crayon practice. The other way this can be used is an example of directional line colouring with this medium, so you have an idea of how this technique works.

2. Unless otherwise posted, my art IS NOT to be copied traced or altered in any way. It is also NOT TO BE REPOSTED on any site or page by anyone other than me, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

(exceptions in terms of (listed above) REFERENCE DOES APPLY, BUT YOU MUST ASK FIRST. )

DIRECT COPYING IS NOT PERMITTED.
If you are unsure of how you can use my art, ASK. I would MUCH PREFER NOT having to bust your ass for violating my rules.

Commissions
(If I choose to open them,) CANNOT be used in any way, shape or form, PERIOD. The same applies for Art Trades and Collaborations.

Okay. That was long winded. Hopefully you guys are having a lovely day!
